Katerina Karamanoli
She is an associate professor at the Department of Agriculture, AUTh, from which she received her PhD in Plant Physiology. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Natural Resources, UC, Berkeley, USA and at the University of Salzburg, Austria.

Her current research interests focuses on the effects of stress factors on growth, physiology and metabolism of cultivated plants and the role of biostimulants, as well as the plant bacteria interactions and the role of plant volatiles. She has participated in numerous research projects as a member of the research team or as a coordinator.

Her published work includes 40 scientific papers in journals of the Science Citation Index (SCI), chapters in collective volumes, while she has participated in numerous international and national scientific conferences (Total number of citations > 750 and h-index 16, SCOPUS).
