ΤΑΝΑΝΑΚΙ CHRYSOULA

She is Associate Professor on Beekeeping and Quality Assurance of Beehive Products and Director of the Sericulture Apiculture Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (SAL-AUTH). Her research work focuses mainly on the application of modern techniques in production and quality control of beekeeping products, in pathology, biology, behavior and management of bees, as well as in the pollination and beekeeping flora.
She has specialized in modern instrumental analysis techniques, while organizes and supervises as Quality Manager the quality system of the Sericulture Apiculture Laboratory, accredited according to ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 for more than ten years.
She is certified by the National Center for Certification of Lifelong Learning Structures (EKEPIS) and she participates as a coordinator and instructor in educational courses conducted by the SAL-AUTH. During her academic carrier she has supervised numerous dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
She has participated as a leader in 16 research projects and as a collaborator in 22. She is the coordinator of the national research network "Bee Roads". Her published work is presented in 38 articles in national and international journals (citations > 480, h-index 12). She has participated in more than 50 international and national conferences presenting her research work with over 140 announcements.
She is a scientific reviewer of international journals and member in many international and national scientific and technical committees on beekeeping and beekeeping products.
